Before and After nails treated for toenail fungus

Nails 6 months after toenail fungus treatment with a Q-Clear Laser

The Q-Clear Laser was recently added to the lasers approved for toenail fungus. Even before its final approval, we chose this laser for Arbor Foot Health Center because it offered tremendous benefits over the competing Patholase PinPointe FootLaser. For one, it uses two wavelengths of light to attack the fungus and for another, it uses a short pulse, descreasing pain.

The Q-Clear Laser may provide a better long-term cure for toenail fungus

The Q-Clear manufacturer shared numerous before and after photos of toenail fungus treated with its laser in studies submitted to the FDA that eventually earned its approval. Those photos are pictured above. Please note, it takes 6 months after treatment for such results to be seen as the healthy nail grows out. Fungal infection, like other infections, can return. You may have a lifestyle that encourages this growth. You may have contaminated shoes or surfaces in your home. You may be genetically prone to this infection. We provide our patients tips and medication to prevent re-infection, but we cannot guarantee a lifetime of perfect nails.
